Hi there, I’m just a wee bit late posting this… only two days, but who’s counting…

The Nano novel is going well, I’m now sitting with 41,312 words, I don’t have far to go, just 8,668 words. If I wanted to, I could get to my target of 50,000 with in the next two days, but my novel won’t be finished. There’s about 8 chapters to go, then I have the ending to work out, so I think I could be looking at 70,000 words for this. So I’m well happy.

I must admit I didn’t think I’d achieve this much for one novel is such a short time. I’m looking forward to finishing this, but I’m dreading the editing! But at least I have my first completed novel to work on and try to get published… I wonder how many years that will take.

I’m also looking forward to getting back with Barry, he’s waited so patiently for me to finish this, even though he’s bugged me while I worked on the Nano.

So, since last Tuesday I’ve written, 16,505 for Nano. I’ve also written two flash fiction pieces and a poem… and I should really run and do some more of my Nano now, instead of typing away in here.
